After a long and frigid winter in New England, I just awoke from my travel hibernation and I’m now in the process of planning some new and exciting trips. I’ve talked about the Presidential Traverse before, a magnificent 24-mile hike in New Hampshire that I’ll be doing at the end of May. In this post I’m doing some research on Italy and more particularly Florence, where my wife and I are heading in the summer. That’ll be a multi-week trip taking in rural Tuscany and its gorgeous capital of Florence, but also some other parts of the Mediterranean coast, such as Croatia and Greece.
Reading about a destination and looking at beautiful photos are my two preferred ways of preparing myself for a new and exciting trip. In this blog post on planning to visit Florence, Italy, I aim to offer you some inspiring photos of the main things to see in Florence
