Wander the Botanical Garden

The luscious San Antonio Botanical Garden is a beautiful place to visit as a couple anytime of the year. In fact, with its grounds covering 38 acres; you could visit the gardens again and again and not see everything it has to offer. It’s also the perfect location for a laid back day date.

Just visit the Rosella at the Garden (located in the Sullivan Carriage House) to check out a menu of coffee, brunch and cocktails. You and yours will finally have a chance to relax quietly together; and share some of the unique house specialty concoctions. These include the gin-based “Chareau me the money,” which features seasonal fruit; and the “Rozumari,” blend of Japanese whiskey, ginger, honey, lemon and aromatic rosemary.

I was initially housed Spanish soldiers who were stationed at the Mission San Antonio Valero.
