New Zealand to Sydney Weekend Getaway

1. Visit a beach

Australia is famous for its beaches. Surprisingly, Sydney manages to squeeze lots of beaches only minutes away from the CBD. We recommend hitting up the iconic Bondi Beach, or, if you’re feeling energetic, visit each of the beaches between Bondi and Coogee on the Coogee to Bondi coastal walk.

2. Catch a ferry

You’ll soon realise that Sydney revolves around its magnificent Harbour. The suburbs on the harbour shores are linked by an elaborate ferry network which transfers passengers across the iconic waters. There’s no more authentic way to experience the harbour than to catch the ferry. Most famously, you should definitely hop aboard the Manly ferry.

3. Stroll the CBD and The Rocks

To really feel the impact and scale of Sydney, take a stroll around The Rocks and CBD. The Iconic rocks area features many heritage sandstone buildings and is also quite a mysterious area. From the Rocks, walk up past Martin Place, and into the CBD. The CBD is chaotically filled with lots of shops – plenty of retail therapy potential!

With many many flight options from New Zealand, it can be extremely confusing trying to book a cheap fare. To make things easy on yourself, try using a booking system such as webjet.
