New Dubai Parks and Resorts to Open Soon

Dubai Parks and Resorts PJSC will become the Middle East’s largest multi-themed leisure and entertainment destination when it opens in October 2016 comprising four separate theme parks:

  • motiongate™ Dubai, the largest Hollywood-inspired theme park in the Middle East. Visitors will be given the chance to go beyond the screen and immerse themselves in the magic of Hollywood, ensuring fun for the whole family and creating memories to last a lifetime. Motiongate at Dubai Parks and Resorts is a blockbuster in its own right, this Hollywood-inspired adventure land features 27 rides for the whole family.
  • LEGOLAND® Dubai, the first LEGOLAND theme park in the Middle East
  • Bollywood Parks™ Dubai, a first-of-its-kind entertainment destination that will showcase the authentic Bollywood movie experience, providing guests with a flavour of Bollywood and Indian culture through immersive rides, delicious food, stunning live performances and extravagant entertainment.
  • LEGOLAND® Water Park, the region’s first water park catering to families with children aged 2-12. Additional LEGOLAND Water Park features include the LEGO Wave Pool, the DUPLO Wave Pool: (especially for the smaller guests), DUPLO Splash Safari, Joker Soaker, Twin Chasers double body slides, Splash Out featuring a 60-foot drop, and many other attractions.

Guests will experience nearly 100 rides and attractions across four parks. Annual passes are currently on sale at, and daily passes will be announced soon.

The entire destination will be connected by Riverland™ Dubai – a uniquely themed retail and dining destination at the heart of Dubai Parks and Resorts, and guests can stay at the Lapita™ Hotel, a Polynesian themed family hotel part of the Marriott Autograph Collection.

The large-scale AED 13.2 billion development is spread across 30.6 million square feet of land located on Sheikh Zayed Road opposite the Palm Jebel Ali in Dubai equidistant to Dubai and Abu Dhabi International Airports. 6.7 million ticketed visits are expected in 2017, the first full year of operation.

Watch: All the Wonders of the Universe. The official theme song is a creative collaboration with the legendary academy award winner Alan Menken, an American film composer and pianist, who has an amazing track record for composing the scores for the world’s most famous animated movies. The song tells the story of joy, laughter and amazement coming together at Dubai Parks and Resorts.
