Kaziranga National Park, Assam

This protected wilderness in Assam is the only remaining natural habitat of the endangered One Horned Rhino in India. It is also one of the largest wildlife sanctuaries in the country and a fantastic place to explore the diverse ecosystems of Northeast India.

The park was designated a Tiger Reserve Forest in 2006 due to the noteworthy number of tigers living there. Also, it is home to swamp deer, wild buffalo and elephants as well as many species of migratory birds. Take a safari and watch the forests come alive with animal activity.

Jim Corbett National Park, Uttarakhand

This gorgeous park is the oldest and one of the best in India, Jim Corbett national Park was established in 1936 to protect the beautiful and rare Bengal Tigers. It is located at the foothills of Uttarakhand mountain range in the Himalayas. The park was named after the famous wildlife writer Jim Corbett and it has been featured in many wildlife documentaries from all over the world. Ranthambore National Park, Rajasthan

This national park is located in Rajasthan and was once a hunting ground for the Maharajas. These days it is a protected nature park and it is known for having a very high population of tigers. It is also a superb destination for birdwatching.

Venture into Meghalaya, one of the more unexplored regions of India, where you will find Mawkdok Dympep Valley. Within this lush V-shaped valley you’ll find tranquil surroundings that will totally take your breath away. The best time to visit is during the cold months, which is when a shallow mist covers the valley.

Periyar National Park, Kerala

Take a trek in this gorgeous national park in Kerala, which is located in the cool green ecosystem of the Cardamom Hills in Kerala. It offers lush forests, a cooler climate and plenty of great hiking opportunities. Elephants, Tigers, Deer, Leopards and Snakes have been spotted at this national park, so bring your camera with you! There is even the possibility to go bamboo rafting along the river here – an unforgettable experience.
