Illuminight Dean Castle Country Park, Kilmarnock

A magical experience for all the family with Illuminight at Dean Castle Country Park. The 1.5 km outdoor trail takes in the beautiful landscape with ponds, rivers and trees enshrouded with state of the art installations and music. The extravaganza takes place at various times until the 19th November.

Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh

This year there is lots going on to entertain and delight at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh – Christmas event. The enchanting one-mile trail weaves its way around this world-famous garden with the opportunity to see Santa, the Fire Garden and taste the delights at the festive fair.

Fire & Light, Falkirk

Are you ready for 2018? What new years resolutions will you set? Illuminate and energise into 2018 at Fire & Light in Falkirk. Walk around the 4km trail with magical installations and performers. Last year saw a fire-breathing Dragon, can’t wait to see what 2018 will bring.

Enchanted Forest

The Enchanted Forest takes place annually, just outside the beautiful and quaint town of Pitlochry. It is a feast for the senses, with incredible sounds, lights and more.  This year was another sellout, don’t worry if you missed out, it’s never too early to plan for 2018!  The provisional dates now released are 4th October – 4th November 2018.  Sign up for the ticket alert newsletter and be the first in line to purchase a ticket.

Giant Lanterns of China

This winter, RZSS Edinburgh Zoo will be home to The Giant Lanterns of China, an installation of over 450 dazzling giant lanterns that will illuminate the Zoo for 50 awe-inspiring nights.

A magical trail awaits, where you will discover beautifully crafted lanterns, rich with colour and character. Some that you will see includes the dragon, temple and zodiac signs, alongside over 200 animal-themed lanterns including giant pandas, lions and penguins.

Be wowed by Chinese performers, enjoy wintery hot drinks and snacks and shop in our Christmas marketplace featuring hand-made crafts from Chinese artisans.
