Ireland: Top Road Trip Island
The island of Ireland is small; yet driving it affords wide and varied scenic drives. The eastern coast is lined with sandy beaches and the “Garden of Ireland”, County Wicklow. The southern coast boasts a different kind of beauty, while the Atlantic west coast is rugged and stunning; the north again has its own kind of beauty including the volcanic rock formation “Giants Causeway” rising out of the ocean. The midlands are flat, rolling green, with many old stately homes and gardens, a highlight being Birr Castle with its Galaxy themed garden.
