Charleston is a great place to go if you want to have some serious soul food. There are quite a few options in Charleston when it comes to brunches, lunches, and dinners. Many Charleston brunch spots will give you a real taste of the South.

When you are looking for delicious seafood, Seattle is the place for you. From the freshest fish and chips to the tastiest sushi, you will find quite a few great restaurants. Seattle also has a number of mom and pop shops that will give you a more local taste of the food community.

If you are looking for some great local seafood you can cook for yourself, try the fish market at Pike Place. The delicious fresh fish you find there there may just be some of the best you have ever cooked.

Portland, Oregon

If you feel like it’s time to try some weird foods, Portland is the place for you. You will be able to try everything from shark jerky to ghost pepper-flavored jelly. There are many local farmer’s markets where you can try just about every type of weird food you could think of.

There are many different ciders that you can sample, too. Portland is a fun place to not only find great street markets but also fun restaurants.

New Orleans, Louisiana

Cajun cooking is what you will experience when you head to New Orleans. Jambalaya, gumbo, and red beans with rice are just a few of the many dishes you can enjoy in the Big Easy.

Remember, though—if you are going for the delicious Cajun cooking, you need to be ready to handle all the spices involved.

Las Vegas, Nevada

If you want to have one of the most incredible foodie experiences in America, spend a few nights in Vegas. Las Vegas is a place of wonder that will give you many more experiences than just about any city. For a foodie, Vegas is a dreamland. There are so many different restaurants where you can enjoy styles of food from all over the world.

Famous chefs love to go to Las Vegas to set up shop because they know they will get the foot traffic they deserve. Gordon Ramsey and Wolfgang Puck, for example, have set up shop on the Strip in Vegas. You will most likely have to book these restaurants in advance.

Vegas also has some of the best buffets that you could ever imagine.
