The Largest Man-made Island In The World

The Palm Jumeirah artificial island is one of those absolutely jaw-dropping Dubai attractions that you’ll never forget.

Set in the calm emerald waters of the Arabian Gulf, seen from above the archipelago looks like a stylised palm tree, its 16 fronds fanning out into the ocean, protected by a crescent that acts as a breakwater.

On the crescent you’ll find luxury resorts, the trunk is where you’ll find most of the mid-rise apartments, while the fronds are home to thousands of villas, townhouses and lots.

Head down to one of the resorts and laze in the sun, enjoy happy hour at one of the many bars, or enjoy a world-class meal at any of the signature resorts, such as One & Only, Fairmont The Palm or Kempinski Hotel & Residences.
